Agios Georgios is situated in the northwestern side of Evia, 28km. away from the baths of Edipsos. It is a picturesque fishing village surrounded by pine forests, with a population of approximately 1,000 inhabitants. The beautiful peninsula of Lihada, where the village is set, is very traditional and peaceful. Agios Georgios is famous for its quality wines. Along the coastline, the visitor can find several hotels, restaurants, cafeterias and bars. During summer, there are boats, on a daily basis, going from Agios Georgios to Edipsos and Kamena Vourla.
