Adamas, meaning diamond in Greek, is a seaside village and tourist center, situated 5km. south of the village of Plaka. Adamas, is also the main port of the island, considered as one of the safest natural harbors in the whole of Mediterranean.
Here, the visitor can enjoy all kinds of facilities, such as restaurants, cafeterias and bars. At a short distance from the village there are the beaches of Lagada and Papikinos, both ideal for swimming and relaxation.
