At the Galaxy we’re passionate about good food and drink and we strive to offer our guests an exceptional culinary experience. We pride ourselves on using the best fresh (and organic where possible) local produce (we even produce our own extra virgin olive oil in our farms outside Heraklion).

Moreover our wine list features several small, local organic wine makers, not forgetting the wide variety of Greek and International premium produce also offered.

LOCATION

The Galaxy is conveniently located on Dimokratias Avenue, the city's most elegant thoroughfare only a short walk from its historic centre. Our location affords easy access to Heraklion's International Airport and the Port, as well as excellent connections to all of Heraklion's sites, such as the Palace of Knossos and the Archaeological Museum.

Additionally, the Galaxy offers an excellent location to the business traveller with its close proximity to numerous businesses, banks and shops.
SWIMMING POOL
The Galaxy is not the typical ‘big box’ city hotel. Its architecture and landscape offer a unique city resort ambience, ample outdoor space and the city’s largest fresh-water swimming pool operational throughout the year.
Our guests can relax in the beautiful gardens surrounding the pool, enjoying complimentary use of sun loungers and towels. It has also been recognised as one of the hotel’s primary spots to wine and dine away those spare hours. Opening hours: 09:00 – 20:00
