Georgia and Jim are two young people who live and work in Arkadia. Born in the area, Agios Ioannis is for both of them a place to rest and get inspired. They love their area, but mainly they respect it.A few years ago they started making their dream come true. They created Abelos using their love, hospitality and wish to promote their place and the wider area which really impresses the visitor and offers unforgettable experience for entertainment, getaway and natural beauty.
In Abelos the guests will meet with 6 little houses, functional and fully equipped. They will sense the high taste and care from Georgia and Jim in every corner of the guesthouse. They will easily feel at home while enjoying little luxuries at the same time which also contribute to a memorable short or longer holidays.
In Abelos you are welcome all year long, while Georgia and Jim can guarantee you that your stay as well as your experience of the area will leave you with long-lasting memories that sooner or later will drive you back here.....

Outdoors
Abelos consists of 8 independent buildings that make a whole unit to the surroundings. Every external spot is unique, especially taken after, different from the others but in harmony with the traditional architectural style of the area.
The houses are built with the local material, which is stone and wood, combined in such a way that offers a sense of familiarity and cosiness at first sight.
Each house has a veranda with a view to the Argolic Gulf and is full with the sunshine and the breeze that blows from the mountain of Malevos.

Indoors
The sense of hospitality in combination with luxury are the main impression the houses make to the visitor. Each one is special and can instantly become the ideal the ideal accommodation for those who seek for relaxation in their short getaways from their everyday routine.
Every house is equipped with a traditional fireplace, central heating, a TV, a DVD player, HI-FI, INTERNET, a fridge, a mini bar and a safe.
The house accommodates 4-6 people in a 40m2 kitchen with living room along with separate bedrooms and a bathroom.
In the living room there is a couch that can be converted into a double bed.
The kitchen in Lydia Premier is fully equipped so the guests can prepare not only a simple breakfast but also a luxury meal.
Every bedroom has a double metal bed and its own style. Lydia Premier also has a fully equipped bathroom (with a hair-drier, bathtub etc).

Short Outings
Hiking in Parnonas will bring you close to the rare flora and fauna of the area. For those who love sports Parnonas is ideal for mountain biking and journeys in a 4x4 car.
Seven kilometers far from Agiannis you can visit the monastery of Malevi and the village of Agios Petros. There are a lot of historic monasteries you can visit around Agianni too, such as Palaiopanagia, Loukou, Agia Triada, Prodromos and Elona so as to live moving moments and come into contact with significant moments for history which have been strengthening the Greek religious feeling for years.
At a short distance you can visit Karies (Arahova) , Kastri, Ano Doliana, Platanos with its picturesque streets and flowing waters where the Cherry Celebration is organized and Kastanitsa with the white streets which organizes the Hazelnut Celebration every year on October 31st.
A few kilometers away you can see the village of Kosmas, Tiros and Leonidio, beautiful places showing the colour and the beauty of the area. And ofcourse Tripoli is right next to you.
At a short distance you can enjoy your fish dishes in traditional taverns and your swim in Xiropigado, Paralio Astros, Tiros and other wonderful beaches.
You can also visit the archaeological sites of Tegea, Mantinia and Eva in Kinouria.

The Lepida Falls
In the municipality of Northern Kinouria the visitors are captivated by the falls and the canyons they meet. Only 3 kilometres from our guesthouse you can see the Lepida Falls, an incredible sight created by the water flow of the area of Xirokampi. These waters flow smoothly to the area of Platanos where they develop a second fall, the Nimfi fall. From that point on, a canyon starts to flow to Zaholi.
The canyon of Loulouga starts from Sitaina and the canyon of Koutoupou from Kastanitsa and they both meet in Dipotama, where they flow together to Tripotamia where they meet the waters of Mazia and make a special natural formation. Then, all these waters flow together and meet those from Platano to create Vrasiati, which flows into the canyon of Zarmpanitsa and from there to the beach of Agios Andreas.
The Municipality of Northern Kinouria

The captivating Xiropigado, the entrance point of our municipality for those who come from Athens, as well as the cosmopolitan Paralio Astros, are the parts with the highest number of tourists. They offer a wide variety of entertainment.
The historic town of Astros, is the centre of the municipality. It is surrounded by an olive groove while its fields and lush vegetation in some parts hide at first its biggest part from the visitors.
A bit farther , Korakovouni, Agios Andreas and their beaches, although not very well-known, are ideal for rest and peace for those who seek clear waters and fresh fish.
Going up to Parnonas, leaving behind the olive groove and the orange trees, we can meet the historic areas of Prastos and Kastanitsa with their tower houses, the stone roofs, the cobbled streets and the white houses which give a sense of being on an island.
From there on the visitor has two options: either to follow the route through the forest of Parnonas and reach to Agios Petros and Kastri, ending up in Pano Doliana, known for the heroic battle in 1821, or to follow the route from Kastanitsa to Astros, passing through Sitaina, meeting the traditional village of Platanos with the narrow streets and the crystal waters which create a unique visual and sound phenomenon. After Haradros, nine kilometers from Astros, there is a crossroads which also leads to Agio Petros and Kastri through the historic village of Agiannis.
From Astros there is a street which leads to Doliana, Platana, Agia Sofia and Ano Vervena. Before Agia Sofia there is another street which leads to the area of Kastri through Agios Georgios or Stolos and the villages around Kastri (Perdikovrisi- Elatos- Karatoula- Nea hora- Mesorahi- Oria).
