Directions
1) By car via Chalkida (2 hour drive).
Follow major expressway Athens/Lamia north (towards Lamia).
Approximately 1 kilometre after the second toll station (Schimatari) follow exit signs to the right for Chalkida.
Follow signs to South Evia (Notia Evia) at the set of traffic lights located immediately after passing over the new modern bridge. Continue south on state highway Chalkida / Karystos (towards Karystos). At the midpoint of the trip, at the town of "Lepoura", make a right turn when you see the sign 'to Karystos'. The distance from Chalkida is approximately 130 kilometers.

2) By sea via ferryboat from Rafina.
Board the ferryboat Rafina / Marmari line. After an hour cruise and reaching Marmari, follow signs for Karystos on county road south for about 12 kilometers. (15 minute drive)

By sea via ferryboat from Agia Marina.
Board the ferryboat Agia Marina / Nea Styra line. After a 45-minute cruise and reaching Nea Styra follow state highway Chalkida / Karystos south approximately 45 kilometers. It is about a 40 minute drive to reach the beautiful city of Karystos.
